Hey folks,
Today, I want to write about the campus of the University of Memphis. Initially, the campus is very huge and contains a lot of green areas and a water fountain, which makes it idyllic. The campus provides two bigger food places. In the UC (University Center), students can choose between Burger King, Dunkin’ Donuts, Taco Bell, Chinese food, pizza and a lot of other (healthier) alternatives. Additionally, the “Tiger Den” includes a Subway’s, Chick-Filet-A and a verified buffet offer with salad bars, pizzas, vegetables, meat and all kind of sweet desserts.
Generally, the campus is very safe. Emergency stations are placed all over the campus. Police cars often drive around the campus to keep an eye on unwanted visitors.
The University of Memphis provides several computer pools and libraries. The main “McWherter Library” is during the week open from 7:30am until midnight. The UC provides a 24‐hours computer lab for students, faculty and staff. So, excuses for too less studying possibilities are unfounded 😉
A Big of plus is the Rec-Center of the UofM, which contains a huge weight room, several basketball-, racquetball-, tennis-, table tennis-, beach volley ball courts, a indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, whirlpool, steam room and a lot of other facilities to get in a good shape.
